The first test of HotelStar successfully completed

The launch of the internal hotel booking system of Vipservice Holding is scheduled for the end of 2018, but most of the work related to the development of HotelStar has already been completed. In early June, a group of in-house developers of the HotelStar project has successfully completed the direct contract module development. During the test, the module for controlling direct contracts with hotels demonstrated high-speed operation, as well as ease of use and convenience.

HotelStar features professional toolkit allowing to control your own hotel content at the supplier level. The module is connected to the channel manager, allowing to show not only all room rates, but also the availability of rooms online. In addition, the speed of demonstration of offers increased. The results of the conducted tests show that the upload of the contract rates to the product gateway takes not more than five minutes. The introduction of this technology will allow to fill HotelStar with own contracts and put them on sale in autumn.

"We are very happy with the first test results, however, they didn't really surprise us. Thanks to the combination of high level business expertise and IT competences, we succeeded in the detailed development of every little piece and, as a result, obtained a complete, high-tech and very attractive product," Director of Commercial Development of Ground Services at Vipservice Holding Irina Vasilyeva noted.

The next step is the supplier integration. Already in October, HotelStar will start to show offers of the leading hotel suppliers of Russia and globe in Portbilet. It will be the finishing touch of Vipservice on the creation of HotelStar, the holding's hotel product, which will be easy to choose by "following your heart".
