With the gradual relief of restrictions, the Lufthansa Group not only resumes flights, but also plans to expand the route network in June. Thus, by the end of the month, the airline plans to carry out about 1,800 weekly flights to more than 130 destinations around the world.

Currently, all flights of Lufthansa, SWISS and Eurowings airlines for the first two weeks of summer (from June 1 to June 14, 2020) are already published in booking systems. Austrian Airlines extends the temporary suspension of scheduled flights until June 7, 2020 and is considering renewal the same month. Brussels Airlines plans to resume flights, while maintaining route restrictions from June 15, 2020.

After obtaining all the necessary permits, airBaltic has resumed flights to the following destinations since May 18:
- daily direct flights from Riga to Tallinn, Vilnius, Oslo and Frankfurt,
- from Tallinn to Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Oslo,
from May 25: Tallinn - Vilnius.

Since June, Nordwind Airlines has launched a regional flight program to Simferopol and Sochi.
Qatar Airways announces a gradual return to the previous flight volumes within the existing route network - up to 52 destinations by the end of May and 80 in June. The goal is to bring the number of scheduled destinations to 80 by the end of June, including 23 in Europe, 4 in America, 20 in the Middle East and Africa, and 33 in the Asia-Pacific region.

Starting June 01, LOT Polish Airlines launches domestic passenger flights in Poland. International flights remain canceled for now.

Both AEGEAN and OLYMPIC AIR are reporting the start of air traffic recovery. The company draws attention to the fact that to date, in order to avoid mass congestion in the cabin, it is allowed to carry only one personal item - a laptop or bag (in accordance with the priority of passenger health and safety).
