The Vipservice holding is known for its well-established system of employee training and professional development. It includes short- and long-term programs and courses in specific areas, professional development programs, MBA programs for senior management, and programs adapted by the Higher School of Economics to meet specific business needs. Recognizing the importance of continuous development delivers tangible results, contributing to higher performance and, at the same time, greater employee loyalty.
There is a well-known joke:
– Forget everything you were taught at university when you start this job!
– But I never went to university…
– We don't hire people without a degree!
At Vipservice, it's different.
1. You are not an accountant or an economist, but you use Excel? We will show you how to work with it more conveniently and efficiently and reveal some of its key tips and features.
2. You are not only highly productive at work, but also think strategically and demonstrate leadership qualities? An MBA can help you take the next step.
3. Want to go beyond the expertise of your own product? We will introduce you to other businesses within the holding, so you can confidently represent and understand your colleagues' areas of expertise.
“Olga, what motivated you to pursue further education? More than twenty years of a successful career in the company, an in-depth knowledge of every aspect of accounting… and then, somehow, a new turn.”
She smiles: “Irina Borisovna.”
Irina Borisovna Solovyova, CEO of Vipservice, has a special ability to see the potential in her employees. Even for accomplished professionals, she can identify a unique path for further growth and development.
Olga Yulyevna Sidorenko is Deputy CEO for Accounting and Taxation.
She has been with Vipservice for 25 years. Starting as an accountant, she went on to become Chief Accountant, a position she held for 10 years. Last year, she took another step forward in her career, becoming Deputy CEO.
A New Step in Professional Development.
Olga's meticulous analytical work revealed even greater potential, which the CEO recognized. This marked the beginning of a professional retraining program at the Higher School of Economics, where Olga spent just over a year studying to become a Financial Director.
The program covered investment activities, corporate finance, tax planning, cash flow management and other areas that provide a comprehensive view of business management. In addition to updating and deepening her professional knowledge, the program offered an opportunity to communicate with experts, exchange practical experience and build valuable professional connections.
Olga notes:
“The program provides systematic and up-to-date knowledge of strategic financial management and helps you see the business from a broader perspective, moving beyond purely accounting functions. This type of education contributes to the development of leadership skills, the ability to build and effectively organize the work of a finance function, and the achievement of ambitious business goals. The program also introduces new approaches to financial analysis and planning, digital technologies and risk management, which are particularly relevant for a CFO 4.0.”
It is also worth noting that Olga approached her studies with dedication and enthusiasm. Her essay on “Organizing the Work of a Company's Finance Function” — based on the assignment “Does financial management in your company meet the competencies defined for CFO 4.0?” — was recognized as one of the best on the course.
“I am glad that I chose this path. The knowledge I gained as a future financial director allows me to be more effective within the company, negotiate with external counterparties and banks, and build a long-term financial strategy.”
