Qualification confirmation: successful!

At the Vipservice holding, certification of chief accountants took place.

“This is the first time we have had such practice with specialists in this area; earlier, only some categories of employees from the operational personnel passed certification. And, looking ahead, I will immediately note that we are very pleased with the results,” said Pavel Razin, HR Director of Vipservice, assessed the event. He said that it was decided to conduct the certification in connection with the structural changes in the company; all chief accountants of businesses took part in it, as well as several deputies (responsible for the formation of reports to external regulatory bodies).

To carry out the procedure, a special testing technique was used, developed by a verified contractor. It included tasks that were as close to reality as possible, taking into account the peculiarities of working with different tax systems and other aspects of the work of the accounting department of the executive level.

It took 2 days to complete. It was impossible to "write off" - it was not theoretical knowledge that was tested, but practical skills, while it was allowed to use open sources (for example, the Consultant + program). The participants also gave their explanations and comments on the decisions received.

“All passed the certification successfully: the holding's accountants meet qualification standards, confirming the 6th, highest category. There are even results of 100 points out of 100, ”sums up Pavel Razin.

The summing up took place in a solemn atmosphere. The general director of Vipservice, Irina Solovyova, gave feedback on the results of testing, told about her wishes for the further professional development of employees. All participants, proud of the confirmed qualification status, received flowers and sweets as a gift.

The Chief Accountant of the Management Company, Olga Sidorenko, also took part in the certification, previously helping with the preparation methodology. “This event is very important for us. In accordance with the strategy of globalization of the Vipservice holding, accountants must go to the international level of doing business and reporting, be trained in all areas. Therefore, our next strategic goal for 2021 is to upgrade our qualifications to level 8 IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), ”she commented.

In the near future, the company will allocate time and organize additional training for chief accountants for the 8th category. It is assumed that professional attestations will become regular in the holding and will be held every 2 years. Similar tests will apply to the hiring of new chief accountants.
